Well, Target is doing another amazing collaboration – with Neiman Marcus!
That means, come December 1st, I will be, once again, freezing my ass off in a line outside Target for the chance to buy some duds designed by Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenburg, Oscar de la Renta, Tory Burch, and a whole host of other amazing designers.
According to this article most of the items in the collection will be $60 or less, so this event (because, let’s face it, this stuff is only going to last a few hours) is perfect for those among us who are fashion-forward but also budget-conscious.
I get really, really jazzed about these collaborations because, when I’m not reading about money and finance or grading papers, I unabashedly love fashion and follow the designs and careers of several major designers. But I could never actually afford an Oscar de la Renta dress…until these types of opportunities pop up. I’m thinking of this as a way of responsibly indulging a very expensive passion.
What about you? Do you have any expensive passions or hobbies? How do you budget for them?
