Truth time: I sometimes get sick of reading about money.
While my interest in blogging (both reading and writing) primarily revolves around the PF world, I’ve discovered that there are literally thousands of other fun and interesting blogs out there, and when I just can’t read another word about Roth IRAs, index funds, or Dave Ramsey, these are the blogs I turn to. In case you’re feeling a little PF-ed out, I thought I’d share my top 5 favorite non-PF blogs and why I love them so much.
This is, hands down, the best cooking blog I’ve found yet. Kevin makes food that is simple and delicious, and his recipe directions are incredibly easy to follow. Everything I’ve ever made from his blog has been fantastic, which is why I’m super-excited to make this tonight.

I feel like I have a lot in common with a lot of the bloggers I love, but I find Amelia’s blog to be the most relatable of all. Plus, she just has so much talent as a writer. If you’re a twenty-something woman, check this blog out. You’ll be really impressed and touched by how elegantly she articulates the day-to-day ins and outs of being a brand new adult.
What do I love more than books and baked goods? Mmmm….nothing. Thus, this blog rocks. ‘Nuff said.
I don’t write very much about it here, but I have a serious love of fashion, shoes, and beauty products. But, as I do write a lot about here, I’m on a tight budget. So what could be more fitting than a blog about beauty and fashion on a dime? I visit this blog almost daily to check out what’s hot – and frugal! – in the fashion world.
Emily is – in a word – chic. She has a great sense of style and design, and she makes some pretty fabulous treats, too. Gotta love a girl who can multi-task!
I hope you enjoy these great reads!
P.S. – What’s your favorite non-PF blog?
