Sigh. Thursday once again. Those of you who follow me on Twitter know that this has been a very difficult week for me. You’ll see what I’m talking about in the spending report below.
If you’re looking for something to blog about, think about using this meme! Just be a pal and link back to me somewhere in your post 🙂
Thursday 4/5 – Thursday 4/12
Most Expensive Purchase: $580 for a vet bill. And this was only one of the many bills I paid this week. My poor kitty had to be put down unexpectedly on Easter Sunday, but I tried really hard to save her; this was expensive, but I don’t regret it. More about that next week.
Least Expensive Purchase: $1.25 for a toll on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, on my way back to my apartment from my parents’ house.
Most Exciting Purchase: $149 for my ticket to FINCON!!!! I’m so excited!! Who else is going?
Least Exciting Purchase: $250 for my first (very unsuccessful) vet visit. I’m sort of pissed about this one because they took some really shoddy X-rays – for $150 – which only had to be repeated at the emergency clinic that we went to next. Oh well. Enough about that.
Most Fun Purchase: A set of espresso cups for $15.89. I can finally use my new espresso maker!
Least Fun Purchase: $6.75 for a few snacks at McDonald’s while I was waiting for kitty’s blood work results. I did not enjoy it, under the circumstances, but was so hungry I felt like I was going to pass out. So I choked down some fries and snack wraps. Barf.
Final Verdict: Not going to sugarcoat this guys – this week was pretty damn shitty.
Hope your week was better than mine 🙁
