Let’s take a look at the epic, epic fail that was the month of March:
1. Add $700 to my Freedom Fund
From the beginning, I knew that this goal was a stretch. I also forgot that I would need to buy two somewhat big birthday gifts this month and that I had a number of events on my social calendar. So, big fail.
2. Lose 5 pounds
I was struck down by not one but two bouts of illness this month. This has literally been the sickliest year of my life, which is not good for exercise habits. Again, big fail.
3. Figure out how my new espresso maker works
I needed a few extra gadgets and accessories (including cups to drink the espresso out of!) for the machine that I ordered from Amazon, but one of them is on back-order and one of the cups arrived broken. But I did read the instruction manual thoroughly. So I guess I could count this one as a half pass.
4. Do not purchase a single item of clothing
Fail, but I kinda don’t care. My closet needs some serious help. I have too many of some types of clothing (like skirts) and totally not enough of other types (shirts). I bought a few shirts this month, and I’m ok with that.
5. Read two books
Um, no. I did a lot of work on my blog this month which ate up a lot of my time and energy. Reading fiction needs to be a priority for April.
Hope your March was better than mine! I’ll be posting my April goals Friday.
