Well, my $10 mini-challenge for this week was once again a fail. I guess I just like to spread my spending out, and if I don’t feel like it’s an absolutenecessity to limit my spending, I just won’t do it. Oh well.
In other news, I’ve done some re-crunching of my monthly numbers and it looks like I’ll be able to accomplish my one May goal of breaking even. I borrowed $100 from my Freedom Fund to cover some expenses, and I’ll be able to replace it when my paycheck comes in on Friday, as well as pay off the other May expenses that are sitting on my credit card. Sweet.
I’m currently in agony because I went to a BBQ at my newlywed friends’ new house last night and I got totally eaten alive by mosquitos. Like, over 15 bites on my legs and feet. Yikes. It’s not pretty and I’m very uncomfortable, so I’m definitely staying in and whining to T all night tonight (lucky him) and then I have brunch plans for tomorrow. Also, I ran my last tutoring seminar of the school year this morning, so I’m basically coasting from here on out. Yah!
In my next post I’ll be detailing my plans for savings/debt payoff over the next three months because I have quite a bit of extra income coming in. In fact, I think I might re-establish my 2010 goals to reflect some of the changes that have occurred over the last six months. Can’t wait to fill everyone in!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
